You are bidding on a 1935 Ford 2dr Sedan Slant Back Sedan. Title. Larry Menard’s first car was a 1935 Ford 2dr Sedan Slant Back. It was purchased for $20.00 when he was 12 years old. The Ford was found by an older gentleman, friend, and mechanic neighbor by the name of Wally Lingrin. He told Larry where the car was. Larry was a mission to buy the car. He sold a heifer with the help of his “Uncle Ed” and with the money went and bought the car. He peddled his bike 12 miles on a Sunday morning to buy the car. He never told his Mom or Dad where he was going or what he was up to. He found the owner of the farm and the guy that owned the car, Bill Smith, and bought the car. Larry loaded the car in the back seat and drove it home. Mom scolded him and hugged him at the same time. Dad said, “that is quite the car, Son,” and then added, “Did you get the title? Larry had forgot the title! Larry had a lot of fun driving that car and fueled his passion for 1935 Fords. This beautiful car is Maroon in color with cream pinstripe. the car has matching Kelsey Hayes cream wire spoked rims. It has wide white wall tires. the car has a rear spare tire, beautiful stainless and greyhound hood ornament. The car is powered by a 1948 flathead V8 with manual transmission and 2 speed Columbia rear end. it is a frame up restoration. the interior is a Lebaron Bonney Mohair interior kit and bench seat.
