This was the premium line for Edsel in the 1959 model year, and one of only 3,694 built. Has 361 cu in V8, 3 spd automatic and optional radio, heater and defroster. Last driven in 2004. Needs work on left front brake drum.
This vehicle is part of the Bob Bakewell Collection Estate Auction. Bob was an avid collector, member of several antique car clubs, and served as a judge at several antique auto shows. Bakewell was referred to as Nebraska’s “Chrysler Man” in the November 3, 2011 edition of Old Cars Weekly magazine. Bob passed away at an advanced age, but most of the cars in his collection were drivable when parked and always stored indoors. His family is selling 20 cars from his collection so that others may enjoy his hobby and legacy.
