You are bidding on a 1951 Plymouth Concord P22 2Dr Sedan. Title VIN 18169283 and 63,209 miles on the odometer. This is a complete, original car. Its fastback body style makes it an attractive car today for both restoration or rodding. It has a manual 3 spd transmission on the column, wide whites and green exterior paint. A car with great potential for the hobbyist of any level. Last driven in 2005. Needs brake work.
This vehicle is part of the Bob Bakewell Collection Estate Auction. Bob was an avid collector, member of several antique car clubs, and served as a judge at several antique auto shows. Bakewell was referred to as Nebraska’s “Chrysler Man” in the November 3, 2011 edition of Old Cars Weekly magazine. Bob passed away at an advanced age, but most of the cars in his collection were drivable when parked and always stored indoors. His family is selling 20 cars from his collection so that others may enjoy his hobby and legacy.
